How to resize an image to 1920×1200 online
What is 1920×1200 (WUXGA 16:10)?
1920 × 1200 is WUXGA, the 16:10 sibling of Full HD with 120 extra rows of pixels. It is the native resolution of many 24-inch professional monitors and of WUXGA business and installation projectors, where the extra height suits documents, spreadsheets and code. Photographers and designers often prefer it because a 1080p video can play with room left for controls.
At a glance: 1920 × 1200 pixels, aspect ratio 16:10, 2,304,000 pixels in total (about 2.30 megapixels). The tool opens with exactly this size preset and the Fit with background mode selected, so most images need no extra settings.
How to resize an image to 1920×1200
- Add your images. Drop them on the upload area, click to choose files or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V. JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, GIF, BMP, TIFF and SVG are accepted, many files at once (up to 80 MB each).
- Check the framing. The size is preset to 1920 × 1200 with Fit with background: the whole picture stays visible and empty space is filled with white, black, light grey, any colour you pick or transparency (PNG, WebP). Prefer no borders? Switch to Crop to fill and choose which part to keep.
- Pick format and quality. Keep the original format or convert to JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF. The quality slider starts at 90%; alternatively set a Target size in KB and the tool lowers only the quality, never the 1920×1200 dimensions.
- Compare. Drag the before/after slider across the preview to check sharpness and framing.
- Download. Save each image, or click Download all (ZIP) for a batch. Files are named name-1920x1200 automatically; the pattern and a DPI value can be changed under More options.

Images with a different aspect ratio
Put a Full HD image into 1920 × 1200 with the default Fit with background and it keeps its full 1920 px width, with 60 px bands above and below. Crop to fill removes about 10% of the width instead. Photos in 3:2 or 4:3 are narrower and get side bars in Fit mode. For example, a 4:3 phone photo (4032 × 3024) set to 1920×1200 with Crop to fill loses about 17% of its height (top and bottom edges); with Fit with background it becomes 1600 × 1200 px with bars of about 160 px on the left and right.
Tips for a sharp 1920×1200 result
When a projector is WUXGA, send it a 1920 × 1200 image so it is shown pixel for pixel; if the content is 16:9, black bands in Fit mode look cleaner on a projection screen than white ones. For wallpapers, crop from the largest original you have. Use PNG for screenshots with text and JPG for photos.
Free, private and made for batches
Everything happens in your browser: your images are never uploaded, location and camera data (EXIF) are removed from every result, and there is no sign-up, watermark or daily limit. Need a neighbouring size? Try 2560×1600 or 1920×1080; the custom image resizer handles any other width and height, and the image compressor shrinks the file further if a website or email still rejects it.

Frequently asked questions
Is 1920x1200 better than 1920x1080?
It has the same width and 120 more rows, about 11% more pixels, in a 16:10 shape that shows more vertical content. Which is better depends on your screen.
What is WUXGA?
WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array) is 1920 × 1200 pixels, 16:10, about 2.3 megapixels, common on 24-inch monitors and projectors.
How do I resize a 1920x1080 wallpaper to 1920x1200?
Choose Crop to fill to cover the screen by trimming a little of the sides, or keep Fit with background to add 60 px bands at the top and bottom.
Are my images uploaded to a server?

Can I resize many images to 1920×1200 at once?
Yes. Add as many images as you like: each one is resized to 1920×1200 with the same settings, and Download all saves them together as a ZIP file.
