How to convert images to a PDF
Sending a set of photos, scanned pages or screenshots is much easier as a single PDF: it keeps the order, opens on every device and is accepted by forms that do not take image uploads. The Image to PDF converter combines your images into one PDF document right in your browser.
Add JPG, PNG, WebP and other images, put them in the right order with the move buttons, then choose the page size (A4, Letter, Legal, A3 or a custom size), portrait or landscape orientation, the margin and how many images go on each page, from one to nine in a grid. With one image per page you can also choose how it is placed: fit inside the margins, fill the page, stretch or keep the original size. The PDF is generated with an image quality of 92% by default.
How to use the Image to PDF Converter
- Add your images by dropping them onto the upload area or clicking to browse. You can add more at any time.
- Reorder them with the up and down buttons, and remove any you do not need.
- Set Page Size, orientation, margin and Images per Page; for one image per page, pick the fit mode.
- Click Create PDF and download the finished document.
What people combine into PDF
- Scanned documents and receipts photographed with a phone, sent as one file for expenses or applications.
- Photo sets and portfolios shared with clients in a fixed order.
- Screenshots collected into a single report or tutorial.
- Forms that only accept PDF, such as visa, job or university applications.
Layout options explained
Fit scales each image to fit inside the margins without cropping, centred on the page; it is the safe default for documents. Fill covers the whole content area and may trim edges. Stretch fills the area exactly and can distort proportions. Original places the image at its own size, which can be cut off on small pages. With two or more images per page, the images are arranged in a grid of two or three columns.
Tips for scanned pages
Photograph documents straight from above in good light, crop away the table around the page, and use A4 or Letter with small margins so the text appears at a readable size. Grayscale or high-contrast images usually print and read better than colour photos of white paper.
To keep the PDF small, compress or resize very large photos first with the image compressor; phone cameras often produce images far larger than an A4 page needs.
