Sketch styles
There are ten presets: Pencil Sketch, Charcoal, Ink Drawing, Cross Hatch, Stippling, Watercolor, Colored Pencil, Pen and Ink, Realistic and Comic Style. Each preset sets the sliders for that look; you can change any of them afterwards. The drawing is made by finding the edges in your photo, so the result is a black and white or grayscale sketch.

Fine tuning
Edge Strength and Detail control how many lines appear, Smoothing removes noise from busy photos, and Contrast, Brightness and Gamma set how dark the drawing is. Invert turns it into white lines on black. Paper Noise and the paper textures (Smooth, Rough, Canvas, Watercolor Paper, Vintage) make the result look drawn on real paper.
Tips for the best sketch
- Use a sharp, well lit photo with a clear subject.
- Raise Smoothing for photos with grass, gravel or noise, so the sketch is cleaner.
- For portraits, lower Detail a little so skin stays smooth.
