About this tool
See the hidden metadata inside your photos: camera model, settings, GPS location, timestamp, even which editing software touched it. Every photo carries this invisible info around, and sometimes you need to check it. Photographers use this to see what settings produced a good shot. Privacy-conscious people use it to check if their photos are leaking location data before posting online. We built this after realizing we'd been sharing our home address in photo metadata for months. Oops. Shows everything: aperture, ISO, shutter speed, focal length, GPS coordinates. Some phones and cameras strip this data automatically, so don't panic if it's blank: might just not be there. Good for verifying image authenticity too, since heavily edited photos often show signs in the metadata.
