Online Stopwatch

This online stopwatch measures elapsed time right in your browser. Press start, record laps as you go, pause and resume, and reset when you are done. It works on phones, tablets and computers, needs no app, and can fill the whole screen so everyone in the room can read it.

How to use the stopwatch

1. Press Start, or press the space bar on a keyboard.
2. While it runs, press Lap to record a split. Laps are listed with the newest on top.
3. Press Pause (or the space bar again) to stop the clock, and Start to continue.
4. Press Reset to clear the time and the lap list.
5. Use the full screen button to show only the clock.

Three timers in one

• Stopwatch counts up from zero with lap times.
• Countdown timer counts down from a time you set and tells you when time is up.
• Pomodoro timer alternates focus sessions and breaks, a simple method for concentrated work.

Accuracy

The stopwatch measures time from your device's clock rather than counting ticks, so it stays accurate even if the browser slows the page down in a background tab. For results that matter, such as official races, use dedicated timing equipment; for everyday use it is precise to a fraction of a second.
